Most folks never go in their attic, so attic mold grows for years before anyone notices, often during a home sale. It is almost always a ventilation or roof-leak problem. We remove the mold and fix what caused it.

Attic mold comes down to moisture, and in an attic that moisture has two common sources. The first is poor ventilation: warm, damp air from the house rises into a stuffy attic and condenses on the cold roof decking. The second is a roof or flashing leak you have not spotted yet. Sometimes it is bathroom or dryer vents dumping moist air into the attic instead of outside.
We remove the mold from the decking and framing, treat the wood, and then fix the real problem, whether that means correcting ventilation, sealing a leak, or re-routing a vent. Otherwise it just grows back on freshly cleaned wood.

Most jobs touch more than one of these. We handle them under one roof.
