Basement mold
removal.Dry the space, end the cycle.

Basements are damp by nature, which makes them a mold engine. We remove the growth, dry the space out, and deal with the water getting in, so you are not cleaning the same wall every spring.

Why basements grow mold

Water finds a way in.

A basement sits below the water table for part of the year, so moisture pushes in through walls and floors. Add a little humidity and poor airflow and you have everything mold needs. The musty smell most people notice first is the mold already at work.

We clear the mold, then go after the moisture: grading, downspouts, cracks, sump issues, and humidity. If the honest fix is a dehumidifier and better drainage rather than a big tear-out, we will tell you that. The goal is a basement that stays dry, not a bigger invoice.

Straight answers

Common questions

Why does my basement smell musty?
That smell is usually mold or mildew already growing on damp surfaces. It means moisture is present, even if you cannot see the growth yet.
Do I need to waterproof the whole basement?
Not always. Sometimes the fix is grading, downspouts, and a dehumidifier. We find the actual water path and recommend the least invasive thing that works.
Is basement mold dangerous?
It can affect air quality through the whole house, since air rises from the basement. Worth handling, especially for anyone with allergies or asthma.
