The invisible one

Radon testing
and mitigation. You cannot see it. You can fix it.

Radon is the second leading cause of lung cancer, and you cannot see or smell it. Central Indiana is a high-radon area. We test your home, and if the level is high we install a system that vents it safely outside.

How mitigation works

A quiet system that just works.

If a test comes back high, the fix is a radon mitigation system. In plain terms, it is a sealed pipe and a quiet fan that pull the gas from beneath your foundation or crawlspace and vent it above your roofline, where it disperses harmlessly. Once it is in, it runs in the background and keeps your levels down for good.

We size and install it for your specific home, and we re-test to confirm it worked.

Straight answers

Common questions

What is radon and why should I care?
Radon is a natural radioactive gas you cannot see or smell. It is the second leading cause of lung cancer in the United States. It seeps up from the ground into homes, and central Indiana sits in a higher-risk zone.
How do you test for radon?
We place a monitor in the lowest lived-in level of your home for a set period, then read the result. It is simple and non-invasive.
What happens if my levels are high?
We install a radon mitigation system, essentially a sealed vent that pulls the gas from under your home and releases it safely above the roofline. It runs quietly in the background and brings levels down.
Should I test when buying a house?
Yes. Radon is a standard part of a smart home purchase in Indiana. It is far cheaper to know now than to find out later.
